Front Door Ministry - Parkers Needed - We are looking for volunteers to assist with parking cars for our 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services.  If you are interested in helping with this very important ministry, please contact Scott Frasher at (301) 274-9167.

The “Helping Hands” food pantry
Food donated to the food pantry is used to provide emergency assistance to those in our church and surrounding community.  The pantry is in need of non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, sauces, cereal, instant mashed potatoes, etc.  No baking items please.  Grocery store gift cards will also be accepted and can be dropped off in the Information Area.  Food donations can be dropped off in the church office or in the Information Area of the church.

Morning Star Ministry
The Morning Star Ministry is looking for volunteers to help once a month with the light breakfast which is provided each Sunday morning at the La Plata Campus. Volunteers are also needed to assist with the early morning initial set-up (requires being at church by 6:30 a.m.) & 11:15 a.m. refill and cleanup at the La Plata Campus, as well as substitutes for all services. Cleaning Ministry Opportunities
Volunteers are needed for one to two hours a week or just on an occasional basis in the church.  Weekly cleaning includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms, mopping the kitchen and bathrooms, emptying trashcans, washing windows, etc.  If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please sign up in the Information Area, complete the tear off section of your bulletin, or contact Allen Nuce at (301) 609-8423.

New Life Deployed Ministry
Twice a month we send care packages to those service members who are listed on our New Life Deployed board.  If you would like to add the name of someone who is deployed, or if you know of one who has returned to the states, please complete and turn in the member form.  If you would like to donate an item for us to include in the packages, they may be dropped off in the Information Area.  For more information, contact Beth Watson at (301) 888-1390.

Cambell’s Soup Labels For Hephzibah Children’s Home
These labels are used to purchase vans for the children’s home.  Stop by the Information Area for an updated flyer or to drop off your labels.
